Between Sun and Moon

We see the world through light. Yet what we perceive is shaped not only by the light before our eyes, but also by time, memory, and the quiet movements of the mind. Between Sun and Moon explores the subtle boundary where the visible world meets inner perception. Drawing upon years of observation, a scientific approach to natural phenomena, and a deep sensitivity to light and time, Koshu Endo creates works that exist between documentation and imagination, between science and poetry. The exhibition invites viewers not simply to look, but to experience perception itself.

私たちは光によって世界を見ています。しかし知覚される世界は、眼前の光だけでなく、時間、記憶、そして心の静かな動きによっても形づくられています。『Between Sun and Moon』は、可視の世界と内的知覚が接する繊細な境界を探ります。長年にわたる観察、自然現象への科学的な姿勢、光と時間への感受性を基盤に、遠藤湖舟は記録と想像、科学と詩のあいだに作品を構成します。この展覧会は、単に対象を見るのではなく、知覚すること自体を経験する場です。
