Ripples of Circling Light

Light is organised as a movement rather than a fixed object. Lunar images circulate, spread, and return like ripples whose centre cannot be permanently located. The work connects two kinds of time: the recurring rhythm of celestial motion and the immediate movement of the viewer’s eye across the surface. What appears to repeat is continuously altered by position, sequence, and attention. The image therefore does not describe a cycle from outside; it places the viewer within a visual rhythm where time is experienced through seeing.

光を固定された対象ではなく、運動として構成した作品です。月の像は巡り、広がり、戻りながら、中心を一か所に定めることのできない波紋のように現れます。天体運動の反復する時間と、画面を移動する鑑賞者の眼の時間が重なります。同じように見える反復も、位置、順序、注意の向け方によって常に変化します。循環を外側から説明するのではなく、見る者をその視覚的リズムの内部へ置く作品です。
