The Circling Moon

The moon appears to return, yet no return is identical. Its visible form changes with phase, atmosphere, position, and the conditions of the observer. Repeated lunar images create an expectation of order, while a subtle deviation interrupts that expectation. The work holds recurrence and singularity together: the cycle continues, but each appearance belongs to one unrepeatable moment. By making difference visible within repetition, the work asks whether seeing is the recognition of what is already known, or the discovery of what has changed.

月は再び戻ってくるように見えますが、同一の姿で戻ることはありません。位相、大気、位置、そして見る者の条件によって、その像は変化します。反復された月は秩序への期待を生み、わずかな逸脱がその期待を中断します。周期は続きながら、一つひとつの出現は二度と繰り返されない瞬間に属します。反復の内部に差異を見せることで、見ることは既知のものの再認なのか、変化の発見なのかを問いかけます。
